What If? Metropolis: Online Greenlight Review Part 2

  1. OGR 19/11/2015

    Hi Dinesh,

Okay, so the point of this OGR was to try and present your completed production art so I can 'greenlight' your work so you can go off and get stuck into the modelling in Maya. I can't do that for you today, because what you've presented here is a collection of thumbnails, ideas, tutor-assisted exercises and orthographic drawings that aren't necessarily associated with your final outcome - for example, the orthographic of the Kew palm house. You haven't produced a completed concept painting of your digital set, and I can't find the production art for the various assets that you're going to take forward as models, and because you haven't yet decided about these, there are no orthographs - except for the 'flower' design - which came from thumbnail 93. In order for me to be useful to you, I need you to put together an OGR as instructed here:

Make sure you look at the example OGR I've included here as this will show you very clearly where you need to be in terms of this project in order for you to organise your workload. The OGR you've posted here is a collection of 'bits' but not a complete picture of your intentions:

So - finished concept art - breakdown of scene (3D models/matte painting) - production art of your key assets - orthographic drawings of your key assets.

When you've completed this, put an @phil in your post title and I'll swing by and take a look.
